What kind of bookings can we take?
Anything you charge for time in: a main hall, a meeting room, a court, a studio. Each facility carries its own rates, availability rules and booking form, and a booking can be a single slot, a run of weekly sessions or a whole day.
Can we stop people double-booking a room?
That is the point of the live calendar. A slot that is taken stops being offered the moment it is taken, on the public form and to staff, so two people cannot hold the same room. Facilities that overlap — a hall that splits in two, or a hall plus its kitchen — block each other as well.
Can regular renters hold the same slot every week?
Yes. Set the pattern once and the renter keeps the slot weekly, fortnightly, monthly or for a whole season. Skip a date without unpicking the rest, and bill the run on a recurring cycle rather than as one invoice for the lot.
Do our customers need an account?
No. Anyone can request a booking from the public form without signing up, and pay from the link on their invoice afterwards. Regulars can have an account if they want one — it lets them see their history and rebook faster — but nothing requires it.
Can we take a deposit and the balance separately?
Yes. Charge a deposit at the point of booking and invoice the balance later, on whatever schedule you choose. Refundable damage deposits are held and released separately from the rental fee, so a returned deposit does not disturb the income figures.
