LemonBooking privacy policy for clients

This policy is for organizations that try, order or use LemonBooking, and for their staff: what we collect about you, what we use it for, how long we keep it, who else sees it, and your rights. Visiting this website is covered by our website privacy policy.

This privacy policy is effective as of October 19, 2026. We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time.

Contact information

LemonBooking is a trade name of Tectonic Software ApS, which is the company responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy or the handling of your personal information, please contact our Privacy Officer at contact@lemonbooking.com

The data in your system

Your customers’ details, bookings, invoices and everything else your staff and customers put into your LemonBooking system belong to you. For that data your organization decides what is collected and why, and we handle it only on your instructions, as our terms of service set out.

Your system’s database and files are hosted in data centres in the United Kingdom. We sign a data processing agreement on request, and we send the list of companies that help us process your system’s data when you ask for it.

Every system has its own privacy page for the people who book with you, which names your organization and the services you have switched on.

How long we keep data

IP addresses
90 days
Trial sign-ups, orders and cancellations
Until one year after your trial or subscription ends. If it never starts, one year after you sent the form. Then we remove the names and contact details.
Your system and everything in it
90 days after your trial or subscription ends, unless you ask us in writing to keep it longer
Changes made in our admin area
Audit log entries are kept for 2 years
Invoices
Five years after the end of the fiscal year, as Danish bookkeeping law requires

Backups of deleted data are kept for a further 90 days.

Communications

We email your system administrator and billing contact about your trial, your subscription and your invoices, and about changes to LemonBooking. You may opt out of product news at any time by contacting us at contact@lemonbooking.com

Security

We take the protection of your personal information seriously and have implemented appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Individual rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request that any inaccuracies be corrected. You also have the right to request that your personal information be deleted, to object to our using it, and to withdraw your consent to marketing messages. To exercise these rights, please send us a message using the contact form.

In Canada these rights are the ones the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you, and our Privacy Officer answers requests under it. If our response does not satisfy you, you can take the matter to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca

What we collect & why

  • Signing up for a free trial: your name and email address, the names and email addresses of any staff you add, and your venue’s details, prices and opening hours.
  • Ordering a subscription: the names and email addresses of your contact, your system administrator and whoever pays our invoices, your organization’s address and registration numbers, and any purchase order number.
  • Cancelling: your name and email address, why you are leaving, and the bank details for a refund if you give them.
  • Using LemonBooking: your staff’s names, email addresses and sign-ins, and a record of the changes they make in your system.
  • Paying us: the payer’s name and payment details. Card details go straight to the payment provider and never reach us.
  • Writing to us: your messages, and the records in your system our team looks at to answer them.

With each form on this website we also record the IP address it was sent from, so we can deal with automated submissions.

We also note how you reached us: the website you came from and the first page you visited on ours, leaving out anything after the page’s address, and the campaign name if you followed one of our tagged links.

We use this information to set up and run your system, invoice you and take your payments, answer your questions, and keep the accounts the law requires. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
