Every plan includes your website, booking calendar, online payments and your first 8 facilities — with no set-up fees, and a 30-day free trial so you can try the whole system before you commit. A “system” is a single LemonBooking instance for one organisation, with its own website, calendar and customer list. Most community centres and village halls need just one. Trusts and councils running multiple venues sometimes need several — each system can serve up to three physical locations.

Anything you take bookings for: a main hall, a meeting room, a kitchen, a tennis court, a pitch, a skittle alley. The first 8 facilities are included in every plan; extra facilities are £12 per year each.

For customers in the UK, VAT is applied using the reverse-charge mechanism.

If you are VAT-registered, you account for the resulting VAT on your return.

If you're not VAT-registered, you don't need to declare or pay anything — but the VAT liability counts towards your own VAT registration turnover threshold.

In the Republic of Ireland, give us your VAT number when you order and the reverse charge applies in the same way. Without one, we account for the Danish VAT ourselves and absorb it — the euro price you are quoted is the price you pay.

Subscriptions under £1,000/year must be paid by Direct Debit — Bacs in the UK, SEPA Direct Debit on an Irish account. Subscriptions of £1,000 or more may be paid by Direct Debit or bank transfer. Government and public-sector organisations are not required to pay by Direct Debit. If you can only pay by credit or debit card, contact us before subscribing. We do not accept cheques or cash.

Yes. Irish venues are on the same plans as British ones, and everything on this page applies: the same features, the same 30-day free trial, the same support.

Invoices are issued in euro on request — roughly €224 a year for Bronze — and paid by SEPA Direct Debit from an Irish account. Your own hirers can pay you by card through Stripe, SumUp, Square or PayPal, all of which operate in Ireland.

We invoice from Denmark as an EU supplier, so an Irish subscription is an intra-EU supply rather than an import. Ask us for a euro quote.

We don't offer specific charity discounts because most of our customers are charities — instead, we've worked hard to make our pricing fair and accessible for everyone from the start.

All data is stored in AWS data centres in London. GDPR compliant by default. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

For Irish customers that is a transfer to the UK, which the European Commission covers by an adequacy decision, so no further safeguards are needed. EU hosting is available on request.

No cancellation fees. Email contact@lemonbooking.com and your cancellation will be registered on the next working day. Any unused months are refunded straight away.
