   September update — Three new modules

   Customer feedback, address lookups and SMS alerts are all live. Ask customers to rate a booking once it has taken place and publish the best comments to your website, let them pick a billing address from a list instead of typing it out, and send a text alongside an outgoing email so it does not sit unread. Available with all plans.

2. News 2 August 2026

   August update — Now a G-Cloud 15 supplier

   LemonBooking has been accepted onto the UK Government’s G-Cloud 15 framework. Public sector organisations — councils, the NHS, schools and central government — can now find and buy LemonBooking through the Crown Commercial Service Digital Marketplace, under Lot 2b (Software as a Service), without running a full tender.

   June update — Variable VAT rates for tickets

   You can now set a different VAT rate on each ticket type for the same event — an adult ticket at the standard rate, a child ticket at 5%. We built it for HMRC’s temporary reduced rate on children’s event tickets this summer. It only affects VAT-registered venues; if you don’t charge VAT, nothing changes.

   May update — Ticketing improvements

   Six changes for community venues that sell tickets: a waiting list for sold-out events, partial refunds, discount codes for tickets, a search box on the events list, the option to transfer a ticket to a different date, and the ability to schedule automatic emails before or after each event.

7. News 27 February 2026

   February update — Xero certification, Apple/Google Pay and QR scanners

   Our Xero integration is now officially certified, with faster syncing and an exclusive 90% discount on Xero for six months for LemonBooking venues. We’re also introducing Apple Pay and Google Pay payments, alongside other improvements including a QR ticket scanner for faster check-ins, event categorisation tools, and enhanced website analytics.

   September update — Partnership with GoCardless

   We’ve partnered with GoCardless to make it easier than ever for venues to collect payments by bank transfer. GoCardless enables fast, secure online bank transfers and Direct Debits — fully integrated into LemonBooking. With GoCardless, there’s no need to chase overdue invoices, store details for refunds or match payments to invoices — it all happens automatically.
