Answers that know your venue, plus custom reports
Ask how to do something in your own words, in the help center or in Claude or ChatGPT, and get an answer that fits your own setup. And on Silver and Gold, build the reports your board asks for, in a few clicks.
There are three ways to use AI with LemonBooking. Use one, two, all three or none: each one is your choice, and none of them reads your customers’ details unless an admin decides it should.
1. AI in the app
Suggested answer
Add a booking restriction for 25 December, all day, on every facility you’re closing.
Add a booking restriction
AI search in the help center understands questions in your own words and writes a short answer above the articles that explain it. It knows your plan, modules and facilities, so it can tell you when something needs a module you haven’t installed. It never reads anything about your customers.
AI suggestions in the website editor offer page titles for search engines, clearer wording and image descriptions. Nothing changes on your website until you accept a suggestion.
Both are free on every plan and already switched on. An admin can switch either off in your settings, under Automation.
2. The AI connector
How much is the Main Hall for a community group on a Saturday?
If your team already uses Claude or ChatGPT, add LemonBooking to it and ask how to do things, in plain words. It answers from our help center and your own setup, so a question about prices gets an answer about your prices, not somebody else’s.
Give it a booking or invoice reference, such as BOOK-123, and it can help you invoice that booking. It can’t see who your customers are, and it can’t change anything.
An admin installs it from the Modules page, and its own page walks you through connecting Claude or ChatGPT.
Price: $5 a month per system on Bronze and Silver (included on Gold). It works with Claude on any plan, and with ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu.
3. Your own AI tools, through API v2
For venues with someone who writes code. The AI tools they use, such as Claude Code or Codex, can read your bookings, invoices and setup through version 2 of our API, for reports and automations of your own.
- It only reads: nothing can be changed through the API.
- Customers’ names and contact details stay out unless an admin allows them, and bank details and door codes are never included.
- Software built on version 1.2 keeps working.
Developers: the API describes itself at /api/2/openapi.json on your system’s own address, and the help center’s API guide covers the rest.
Price: keys need the API access module, $2 a month per system on Bronze and Silver (included on Gold).
4. Custom reports
Answer the questions your board asks, in the shape they want, without copying figures by hand. On Silver and Gold, go to Reports, then Custom reports: pick what each row is (a customer, a booking, a booking session or an invoice line), choose the columns and the filters, and save it. Periods such as “last month” move with the calendar, so a saved report stays right.
Preview of the first rows · the full file is emailed as a link
The first 50 rows show straight away, and the full file, in Excel or CSV, arrives as a link by email. Admins build reports and can share each one with Managers or Assistants, who can run it but not change it.
Price: included with Silver and Gold, at no extra charge.
5. Also new since September
- Website editor. Tables for things like a price list, a block for one chosen event, card layouts for activities and events, and copying a page as a draft.
- SEO for every venue. Every venue can now set a title and description for each page. Pages without their own get sensible defaults, and event pages show the event’s own image when they’re shared.
- Scheduled emails further ahead. Scheduled emails can go up to 12 weeks before a booking, up from 6, and email templates have a preview that fills in a real booking, invoice or payment.
- Longer packages. A package can now cover up to 31 days, up from 7.
- Class sign-up cut-off. Choose when sign-ups close: before a class starts, at the start, or up to an hour after.
- 12-hour clock. Show times as 9am or 09:00.
- More ways to split a booking. Split it by calendar year, or move chosen weekdays or facilities to a new booking.
- Copy an event. Start a new event from an old one.
- Settings for every site. With several systems, a client admin can change a setting or the logo once for every site.
That’s it for October.
AI search and the website editor’s suggestions are already on. The AI connector and API access are on the Modules page, and custom reports are under Reports on Silver and Gold.
