LemonBooking partnership with SumUp

We have entered into a partnership agreement with SumUp that guarantees reduced SumUp transaction fees and lower hardware costs, exclusively, for LemonBooking customers.

With this agreement in place, LemonBooking customers will only pay 1.29% on all card payments through a card terminal or online. This makes SumUp the ideal choice for handling small and frequent payments as there are no fixed fees.

At the same time, we have expanded our integration with SumUp so your customers can pay online and in-person for hiring facilities, buy tickets for events, sign up for memberships (recurring payments) and even pay for classes.

Pair a card reader to LemonBooking

In addition to our existing capabilities to take online card payments with SumUp, we have also been given early access to a new feature that makes it possible to pair LemonBooking directly with one or more Solo card readers.

Here's an example of how it works:

1. A customer arrives at your venue & wants to pay by card
2. You find the invoice in LemonBooking & click "Take payment"
3. LemonBooking instructs the paired card reader to take a payment
4. The customer taps their card to pay
5. The card reader reports the result to LemonBooking automatically
6. The payment is saved, a receipt is generated & the invoice is marked as paid
7. (Optional) The data is automatically exported to your accounting software
8. (Optional) The payment can also be refunded automatically if required

Solo card readers

LemonBooking can instruct a paired Solo card reader to take payments for invoices, memberships, tickets and classes as well as ad hoc payments. Please note that it is only possible to pair "Solo" card readers with LemonBooking at this time.

LemonBooking customers also get a 10% discount when buying Solo card readers.
