Fellow charities pay less; businesses subsidise the cause.
Put commercial bookers on a higher rate and let that income subsidise the community groups you exist to help. Set up booking groups (Resident, Charity, Business) once and the right price applies every time — no discount spreadsheet, and each hirer only sees their own rate.

Frequently asked questions
Anything we haven't covered, drop us a line.
Is LemonBooking suitable for a small, volunteer-run charity?
Yes. LemonBooking is built for small charities, trusts and CICs with no IT staff. We do the initial setup with you, multi-user roles let volunteers and trustees share the work safely, and every change is logged so there's a clear audit trail.
Can we send charity-friendly invoices if we're not GST-registered?
Yes. Invoices carry your charity's logo and your own sequential numbers, and you can show your registered charity number. If you're not GST-registered, GST simply doesn't appear — nothing to switch off.
Can supporters and hirers pay us online?
Yes. Connect SumUp, Stripe, or PayPal and people pay from a link on their invoice or ticket — no LemonBooking account needed. Card fees go to the provider; we don't add anything on top.
Is this a good not for profit booking system?
It's designed for not-for-profits. You get venue hire, invoicing, event ticketing, memberships and a website editor in one place, with charity, resident and business booking groups so the right rate applies automatically — no per-feature add-ons to budget for.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes — 30 days, no card required. Start your free trial and we'll help you import your existing diary so you're not starting from a blank screen.
Can volunteers run it from their phones?
Yes — LemonBooking runs in any web browser, with no app for volunteers to download. The calendar, booking forms, ticketing and admin all work on a phone, tablet or laptop, so a trustee or volunteer can approve a booking or check ticket sales on the move. Drop a shortcut on a trustee's phone and the bookings are a tap away at the next meeting.
Ready to try LemonBooking at your charity?
30 days free. No card required. We do the initial setup with you so your volunteers aren't staring at an empty system on day one.
