Every plan includes your website, booking calendar, online payments and your first 8 facilities — with no set-up fees, and a 30-day free trial so you can try the whole system before you commit. A “system” is a single LemonBooking instance for one organisation, with its own URL, calendar and customer list. Most community centres and community halls need just one. Trusts and councils running multiple venues sometimes need several — each system can serve up to three physical locations.

Any space you take bookings for: a main hall, a meeting room, a kitchen, a tennis court, an oval, a bowling green. The first 8 facilities are included in every plan; extra facilities are $24 per year each.

No set-up fees, on any plan. When you start your trial we set your system up from your sign-up answers — your rooms, prices, booking forms and website. Fill in our templates and we import your customers and bookings too, during the trial or once you've ordered.

No. We invoice from Denmark — Tectonic Software ApS, VAT DK41622148 — so your subscription invoice carries no Australian GST and no New Zealand GST.

If you are registered for GST in Australia, give us your ABN when you order and the supply is treated as GST-free to a business — there is no GST for you to pay and none to claim back.

In New Zealand, give us your GST number and the same applies. Without one, the imported-services rules may mean GST is added.

GST on what you charge your own hirers is a separate thing entirely, and LemonBooking handles it: see the tax invoice question below.

Yes. If you are GST-registered, add your ABN (or your NZ GST number) and your ACNC registration, if you have one, to your venue profile once and title your invoices Tax invoice. Every invoice then comes out as a valid tax invoice, with GST shown on the lines where it applies.

If you are not registered, GST never appears — there is nothing to switch off and nothing to explain to a hirer.

Subscriptions under $2,000 a year ($2,000 NZD in New Zealand) must be paid by Direct Debit. Larger subscriptions can be paid by Direct Debit or bank transfer. Government and public-sector organisations are not required to pay by Direct Debit. If you can only pay by credit or debit card, contact us before subscribing. We do not accept cheques or cash.

We can register a new domain ending in .com or .org for any venue, as well as .co.uk, .org.uk and .uk in the UK; .ca in Canada; .com.au and .au in Australia; and .co.nz, .org.nz and .nz in New Zealand.

A .ca, .com.au or .au domain is registered in your own organisation's name, because those registries require a Canadian or Australian presence.
